#25/25 Texas (18-10, 9-6 Big 12) vs. #3/4 Oklahoma (22-5, 10-5 Big 12)

When:  Saturday, February 27, 2016

Time:  1:00 PM CST

Venue:  Frank Erwin Center
Location: Austin, TX

Television:  CBS (Nationally Televised)

Previous Meeting:  Oklahoma defeated Texas 63-60 (February 8, 2016)

Series Record:  Oklahoma leads Texas all-time 53-35

In addition to this being a game against arch-rival Oklahoma on their home court, the story line in this game is Texas hosting another AP Top-20 team at the Frank Erwin Center.  The Longhorns are 3-0 at home vs. Top-20 teams and 2-0 at home vs. Top-10 teams.  Oklahoma brings a Top-5 ranking to Austin on Saturday for the showdown on the court with the Longhorns.

The Sooners narrowly defeated the Longhorns in Norman earlier this month, 63-60, on Buddy Hield's 3-pointer with a couple of seconds left on the game clock.

Texas is 5-3 this year against AP Top 20 teams and 5-5 this season against AP Top 25 opponents.

Isaiah Taylor

Javan Felix

Demarcus Holland

Connor Lammert

Prince Ibeh

Off the Bench:

Tevin Mack

Down 11-7 with 14:21 to go.  CBS is showing the end of the UR Butler/UR Georgetown game, which is in OT.

Well played half by both teams and a refreshingly well officiated half by the zebras. Need to slow Hield down. Hook 'em!

ou sux leads 40-37 at half, but Buddy Hield with 23 of those points. We need to try to make someone else beat us

Something missing in the Horns offense that is not pushing the game.

On defense, something missing that is not messing with the OU offensive push.

You can watch games and see a flow and a dynamics... then glance at the score and it doesn't add up.

I keep thinking Texas should be down 15 points, but they stay within a few. Somehow.

OU is pretty good and has at least two other shooters besides Hield that can make your day long.

Our inside game is rough, and I wish some on the team did nothing but shoot foul shots in practice.

Shaka is doing some incredible things with the team.  Big win for the Longhorns today.

Talked with Bracketologist Shelby Mast just now and he thinks Texas stays at a 4-seed as of today.  If teams above the 'Horns lose today they could be sitting at a 3-seed potentially.

Texas faces Kansas next.

Tweeted about how much I enjoyed listening to Craig Way's radio play by play call, and Craig Way himself liked my tweet. Best day ever!

i quit watching at 5:20 mark. Down 58-54. It worked! Reverse jinx. Sacrificed for the team. First time I ever caused a 22-0 run.
