Texas up 3 with 11:30 to play. I knew this game was going to be a battle. These multiple guard lineups that like to shoot jumpers give us a little trouble.

Texas decided to wake up. They extend the lead to 14  with 8 to play.

It wasn't pretty but Texas holds on for the win. Texas should run the table now in non-conference. Stanford is a better matchup for Texas, and IMO Long Beach State is a better team than Stanford. No comment on Rice. Texas moves to 10-1 on the year so not a bad start. Getting Taylor back for Big 12 play will be huge.

LBS was very scrappy and hung with # 9 TEXAS most of the game...  but the Good Guys get the W:  78-68.   Lammert had a great night, so did Holland and Felix.

That 3 from Felix was shot from Leander.

I live in Leander and did think I saw a long three taken from my front yard earlier. Might have been a deer or shooting star though.
