Madden allows 3 singles in T1, KSU pushes one across.

Headed B1, Horns trail 0-1

Horns get one back in B1 on a Zubia RBI single

Tied at 1, thru 1

T2 Madden issues a walk, nothing else.

Tied at 1

B2 Horns add one on a 2-out Antico RBI triple that gets past a diving CF

Antico doesn't slide as he tries for home plate; he's out, benches clear.

Blue ejects a very boisterous Cam Williams in addition to Faltine and Daly.

Madden faces the minimum in T3 and Horns up 2-1

Horns go in order in B3, still lead 2-1

Also, I believe that the ejected players will miss tomorrow's game as well.

B4

Texas adds one with a 2-out RBI single from Hodo, Horns up 3-1

Horns add another in B5, Horns up 4-1 thru 5 complete

T6 KSt gets a 2-out solo HR, cuts the lead in half.

Horns up 4-2, headed B6

B6

In comes Quintanilla with 2 RISP and a 3-1 count.

Gets a KS to end the frame

Horns up 5-4 headed B7

Everybody Stretch

B7

Horns get a 1-out walk from Zubia, moves to 2B on a balk.

KSt goes back to the pen for their closer with 2 outs

2-out knock from Stehly, but that's all.  Can't push one across.

T9

Horns win 13-6

Gutsy win.  Especially when you consider that our entire infield was ejected minus the first baseman, in the 2nd inning and pitching wasn’t sharp.

By the way - unless there’s an automatic ejection rule I don’t know about, that is one of the greatest overreactions I’ve ever seen by that umpire!  We are without our starting: 3rd, short and 2nd basemen again today!  This includes our 3rd hole hitter and our home run leader.  If there is such an automatic ejection rule - shame on the players.  But I’m not sure why just 3 from each team were tossed when both benches cleared and there was no “fighting?”
