Texas and Kansas will meet for the seventeenth time in history on Saturday evening at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas.  Kansas shocked the Longhorns last season, beating Charlie Strong’s team 24-21 in overtime, which registered as KU’s first win over an FBS team in two years.

The Longhorns are lost 24-7 to Big 12 rival TCU last week while the Jayhawks extended their losing streak to eight games after losing to Baylor 38-9.  With three games left to play Texas needs two more wins to become bowl eligible, while Kansas is in desperate need of win #2 on the season.

Texas needs a San Jose St type blowout for me to feel a bit easier about a bowl game going forward.

Time for us to run the table starting today. All remaining games are winnable.

Sadly I won't be able to watch the game live, but will be keeping up on here and using other apps.

Nickleson, Vahe, Shackleford, McMillon  and Kerstetter were listed as the starters on the line but they said Cuney's name as Center.

Also expect Mitchell Becker to replace Josh Rowland as the place kicker. We heard earlier in the week Becker was getting more reps in practice.

Chris Warren is apparently warming up with the tight ends. Another interesting development.
Thats an interesting development.  It' obvious he needs to find a different position if he wants to play at the next level.  I would've guessed possible DE candidate, but Warren can catch the ball very well.  Not sure on his route running ability.

KU tried to catch Texas napping on the opening kick with an onside kick.

First play is BUECHELE UP TOP TO JOE! Touchdown Texas!
