I like Baker - so much talent!  I predict good things with Baker & Cantu on the team.  I hope Johnson stays another year.  He is a Junior, right?

Oh, Baker will take a rash of crap from the players in the dugout for missing 1B, compounded by the fact that he's a freshman.  Count on it.

And Johnson has really been the only Jr that has been impressive thus far from a scout's perspective.  I wouldn't be surprised if he sticks around for his Sr season.

Next weekend is going to be critical. A series win on the road against TCU would do wonders for our resume. After that we get a pretty good Tech team at home and a terrible Baylor team on the road. We can't afford to lose any of the midweek games (2 against Texas State and 1 against Prairie View A&M). 

I can't remember what Stanford's RPI was like last year but they made the tournament with 23 or 24 losses last year. Postseason play is still in play for the Horns, but have to keep winning now.
