Texas up 8-0 after three complete. Knocked the Cal starter out of the game after 2.2 innings and 83 pitches. The guys are really seeing the ball right now.

Great win! Final score 13-3 Texas. Thornhill gets his third win of the season and Steinhagen and Stell heat up while Walsh keeps killing it. Two-run homer from Steinhagen and a solo shot from Walsh tonight.

I'm with djb on this one. I will point out that Augie did some lineup shuffling to start the game and Etier did not start at SS - Summers did. I really don't get messing with the lineup after last night's game, nor do I get messing with what has been a solid infield the last few weeks.

I had high hopes for that young man. But dang he looks like he is really pressing right now- not only at the plate but at SS.

That might be the last time that we see him-ever-Dang I hated to say that!
