He allows a 2-out RBI single, but that's it

Melendez on track to be only the 4th Texas player to hit 20 HRs in a season. Not sure he will best Kyle Russel's 28 in 2007 but could definitely surpass Kody Clemens 24.

They have played 23 games with at least 37 left to go (33 reg season, min of 4 post-season games). At his current pace, he would hit 26 long balls. Would need 5 more post-season games to tie Russel at 28. In terms of total bases, RBIs, and slugging percentage he is on track for top 3 historical finishes.

Heading into conference play, I'm curious how our top 5 bullpen arms rank. Those are the guys that'll pitch on the weekend. Top 3 are obvious, but if we blow through those guys on Fri - Sat then who do we turn to on Sunday?

Duplantier has been far too wild. And I'd prefer to keep Eckhardt as the midweek starter where I think he's been good.
