Situation; B8; Texas leads 3-0; Texas has runners on 1&2; 1 out.

Not sure if they're going to score that wild throw as an E, so Clemens either has an RBI single w/run scoring on E4, or a 2RBI single.

Gurwitz up

F9; 2 outs; runners hold

Ok St with a new P.   LHP Williams.

Burning Wheeland is really noticeable right now for Ok St.  Huge decision yesterday by their staff to burn 4.1 innings with him in releif.

K swinging; check swing and they call him on it.

Headed T9, Texas adds insurance; up 3-0

Another nice win for the Longhorns. Playing good ball right now. Good news is we won again without killing our arms in the bullpen too.

T9

A little smack talk between Marlow and Ok St C.

French back to the hill for the 9th.

Do we play for the bracket championship tomorrow night?
No, we get tomorrow off, as does TCU.  Both losers play in elimination games tomorrow.

Texas and TCU will play tomorrow's winners on Saturday.

That really sets the Horns up to their advantage....Thornhill, Cooper & Curtiss are all fresh.

Have to think that after the way the series finished that the team really wanted this game on a personal level.

Will be interesting to see what we do with Thornhill. I don't think we will pitch him in the first game on Saturday. If we lose the first game Saturday, you may seem him in the second game. Think we will save him until Sunday.
