Texas Longhorns Fall Camp 2026

Tomorrow is here and there is no camp. I think SI got it wrong.

7 days until camp opens.
I always thought SI articles were like seeing things from an altitude of 40,000 feet. Even some of their swimsuit editions remind me of a quote by Foghorn Leghorn:
"Gal reminds me of the highway between Fort Worth and Dallas. No curves."

Not to be picky but that’s Foghorn Leghorn. Good quote though and I always loved Foghorn Leghorn.

It's hard to believe anything on the interwebs these days. I heard this morning that the players report Tuesday and that Wednesday is the first practice. Per OTF.

That's wild. There is a thread that CJ Vogel posted this morning that says seven days to camp. He's OTF staff.

Yesterday, it was a different thread stating eight days to camp. Again, by OTF staff. There's been an ongoing countdown.

I'm to the point where it will happen when it happens.

They get two weeks of camp and one game week prep before game time. That explains the idle first week of August.

Either way, we're pretty close and getting closer. I'm tired of wandering the football wilderness known as off season. lol

Has anyone ever said that our kicker can actually make fg's?....all I have heard about that is crickets. Can our punter get us out of trouble?

Nobody has news on the stuff that is important in tight games......and EVERY year we have won it all we had tight games.
