Reading Pierce, I think he wanted Nixon pulled before he was.  He was very animated in the dugout!  Don’t know why they couldn’t get someone in faster.

Well he is the manager so he can make that call.

They have to adjust to the umpire's wide zone.

Yes they were.  But adjust your approach knowing that.  Take it oppo.  Blue isn't going to change his zone, so as a hitter you have to change yours.

I'm not sure Blue knows his zone. On the first KO of this inning, on back to back pitches the "ball" he called was closer to being a strike than the "Strike" he called.

That walk should have been a backward K and Texas out of the inning. Texas is imploding and okie lite is pitching a no-hitter.
