Doesn’t always get called so you can try.So Trey drops a line drive, picks up the ball and starts a potential DP. The runner on 1st hardly moved but the hitter beat out the throw thus only getting the out at 2nd. Then Keith Moreland states the umps ruled that Trey dropped it on purpose so the hitter is out yet the runner is safe. It's been many moons since I played baseball so when did that rule come into effect?
