Texas softball ends ou's perfect season (ou is now 38-1) on the day they retired Cat's number! This is Texas' first win against ou since 2014 and ends a 24-game losing streak to them.

Thats wild that it happened on the day they retired Cat's number. I had no idea OU was beating us 24 times in a row. Glad it's over.

Loved watching Cat pitch.  Was hoping she could have won a NC a couple times when she was here. Didn't  realize the softball team had lost that many times to them in a row no less. Hopefully we get back to being a top team in softball.

Snapped something like a 40 game win streak they had overall too. Nice to play spoiler. As @david fickensaid, would be nice for Texas to be a top team overall. I think we have made some good progress in that direction. The hiring of Mike White and the facility upgrades have been a step in the right direction for sure.
