***Super Regional Thread: Tennessee Tech vs Texas***

Looks like Kingham said something to Ham as he was running over to first base to toss the ball to McKenzie.

Kingham needs to quit piping the 1-2/0-2 pitches

Top 5

Junior- Works a walk on a full count.

Texas looks like they will get some activity going in the bullpen.

Kaleiwahea- Line drive single into LF

Fields and Parker Joe Robinson are getting loose

Strohschein- Strikeout swinging and the ball gets to the backstop. Runners advance to 2nd and 3rd

Chambers- Smokes one off the RCF wall that Shaw almost catches. 2 runs score

4-3 Tennessee Tech

Putzig- Flyout to RF

Garza- Opposite field double down the RF line.

5-3 Tennessee Tech. David Pierce is out to the mound and making a pitching change. Kamron Fields will take over.

If there was any doubt about Tennessee Tech's ability to hit quality pitching, they answered them by pounding Kingham for 9 hits and 5 runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Osborne- (Garza steals 3rd) Strikeout swinging.

Fields strands Garza on 3rd. Heading to the bottom of the 5th, Tennessee Tech leads 5-3.

Bottom 5

Shaw- Flyout to CF

McKenzie- Line drive single into LF. McKenzie has really been swinging the bat well lately

Hamilton- Works a full count and pops out in the infield to Trevor Putzig at third base

Ellis- Strikeout looking

5-3 Tennessee Tech after 5

Top 6

Harris- 6-3 groundout

Ham- Walk

Junior- Single. Groundball to Hamilton goes under his glove. Looks like he was thinking about the double play.  Scorekeeper is calling it a single with an error but that looked like an E6 all the way

Runners at the corners with 1 away

Bases loaded for Strohschein. Pierce is going to the bullpen again. Josh Sawyer comes into pitch

Strohschein- (Ham tries to score on a passed ball and is thrown out at the plate) 5-3 groundout

Sawyer escapes the jam. 3-4-5 due up for Texas in the bottom of the 6th

Who knew our best defensive play would be on a passed ball?

And yes, that was an E6 all the way.

Hibbeler- Fails on two sac bunts. Strikeout swinging. 93 MPH and Hibbeler couldn't catch up to it.

Reynolds- Strikeout looking

Petrinsky- Strikeout swinging

Wow Roberts is filthy. 5-3 Tennessee Tech after 6
