Couple of quick thoughts....

- In the last 3 years, only 5 teams that lost the first game of a Super Regional went on to win the series.

- I'm content to let TCU, UVA & Ole Miss play knuckles and bloody each other until there's only one left standing. Those 3 teams have enough talent to squelch the Texas mo', but now that can't happen before the finals and at that point, it's anybody's game.

Our side of the bracket is much easier IMO. Ole Miss, TCU, Tech and Virginia should beat up on each other. There's 2 national seeds on that side of the bracket, there's zero national seeds on our side of the bracket. Vanderbilt, Louisville and Irvine are good teams but I would rather play those teams over TCU and Virginia any day.

Of our 3 other teams, I have only seen Vandy.  They are pretty tough.  Solid pitching.

But this is only their 2nd time in Omaha

They have a pretty good rivalry going with Louisville so this game may be worth watching.

Also, I heard they may be having their best starter go Game 2 -- Tyler Beede (first round draft pick) -- but not certain.  They had 5 guys drafted off this team, 3 in the first 10 rounds (and 5 in the first 15).
