good to hear and get in shape with the S & C program to be ready for the coming season.

I've known Steve since he was a toddler. I played ball with his Uncle Vic at Daingerfield. When his Uncle Vic was killed in an auto accident right before the state title game in 2009, Steve changed numbers to his uncle Vic's old number for the title game.

He'll bounce back and will finally get some good coaching with the new staff.

Good player and unfairly maligned by Texas fans imo. Will be interesting if CS sees him as a LB or puts him at DE.

Hell of an ath, runs well w his size. I would like to see him lose a little more weight instead of putting his hand in the dirt. He very well may be an impact DE..but he is one of the few..hell maybe the ONLY LB on campus that can actually cover a frickin' hook-seam zone..

I see serious change with Edmond coming. I'll explain.

When Edmond arrived at the 40 acres, he'd never participated in serious off season workouts and had never had the likes of Texas' facilities to lift in. The whole shabang was pretty overwhelming for a kid a short time removed from a rural pond with fishing pole in hand.

So he had no real work ethic for the weight room when he arrived. Add to that the laid back country club atmosphere promoted at UT where Edmond was not motivated to get serious in the weight room. Even when he dieted and lost a bunch of weight, he was not one of the regulars in the weight room.

Our new S&C guy puts a stop to all that. Edmond will come out the other end a more pure physical specimen and his raw talents that we've seen glimpses of will come to fruition. I could not be happier for the guy.

Edmond improved drastically once Diaz was gone.
He improved 10 fold once Mack shit canned Manny. Could've been a different season if Robinson was the DC all year and Manny was washing windows at his house or something.

That was the most bullshit chicken shit pussy blindside block ever!!! I was livid that that somehow isn't a penalty but the D is given no leeway! Happy he is well. Hook em!

Great stuff, I appreciate your insight.

Once they let Edmond do his thing and quit thinking so much, he became the player we all thought he could be. He stands maybe the most to gain with the new staff. He has a chance to see his draft stock rise with a breakout season.

Really curious to see what the new staff does with him.

I never thought he was a linebacker. He always seemed like a DE to me. Maybe Sergio part 2.

This kid stood out even in the AA game against great competition. I agree with needing to lose a few pounds but he has the potential to be great, not good.

Wylie had some good workouts.

Can't blame everything on the coaches.

When coaching policy doesnt result in the kid having to work with Wylie, then i suppose we can staple it to the coach's forehead.
