Sonny Cumbie and Texas

How times have changed. The University of Texas offers the co offensive coordinator that doesn't have play calling duties $1M per year with total control and able to hire 2 coaches and we r all sitting here 2 days later wondering if he is going to accept it. Years ago they might have sent their wife back on the plane, went over and got decked out in Texas gear, had a press conference and hit the recruiting trail. Did anyone think we would ever get to this point? And how did we get here?

Just posted on 247 per a poster

Just heard from a friend of one of the coaches on the TCU staff that cumbie is staying at tcu... It ain't about the money for cumbie and at the end of the day he's happy where he's at!! And yes this is really hard for me to believe !

Gilbert might be the better choice anyways.  I like the Cumbie recruiting aspect but if he is going to leave it hanging for awhile we need to just move on to Gilbert.

So GP was with Cumbie recruiting today.  I could see that as a good sign or bad sign.

Maybe he is telling the recruits yes I might be off to Texas so he is handing off the recruitment to GP or he is reassuring them that he is staying.

I guess you could read it as a bad or good way.

Cumbie is milking the shit out of Texas and TCU

Based on the fact that GP was with Cumbie recruiting this afternoon, I think Cumbie comes to Austin.  Why else would GP be there?
