Hey guys! Just thought I'd share some pics of my day smoking some turkey breast and pork butts.

Looking pretty good!! What kind of rub did you use?
Mix of mostly chili powder and Cayenne along with small amounts of various other spices for the pork.

For the turkey, Whitney used some Cayenne with other spices...not sure on those.

So if the turkey turns out better than the pork, you know you will never hear the end of it! Hahaha

It appears to me that you are mastering your pit?

Did you brine that turkey? Are you smoking a self basting turkey?

IMO, there is nothing better than smoked turkey.

It all looks great. Will be firing up my smoker Thurs. Spare ribs, brisket, pork and a little chicken.

The turkey was a last second thing so I had no time to brine. I'm just smoking and basting with a mix of Apple juice and butter. This is my first time smoking a turkey so I'm a little apprehensive about the results. Fingers are crossed.

Damn that looks tasty. I'll be up early tomorrow morning. Got a 12 lb brisket I'll be smoking.
