Josh Sawyer gets another midweek start. Crucial game for him & the Horns:

1. Texas needs a 3rd and 4th starter. Ideally, Sawyer fills one of those spots.

2. SHSU, Kansas x3, and Texas State are the next 5 games. The Longhorns need to go 4-1 or 5-0 through this stretch and build some confidence before heading to Fort Worth.
