That's an outstanding fundraising total, the Longhorn Nation has a huge heart.

I raised money for my sister's heart surgery two years ago. Longhorns gave to a total of $16.5K in that case. We were overwhelmed by the generosity.

Does anyone know if that will cover the expenses?

My father had aortic aneurysm surgery and at another time quintuple bypass surgery, and though I never knew the total cost of either, the aneurysm surgery required more OR hours, more ICU hours, and a longer hospital stay and recovery.

The Longhorn Nation is very generous. We take care of our own.
