Roger G. laid down the law on this one.

•The New Orleans Saints are fined $500,000.

•Forfeiture of second round picks in 2012 and 2013 drafts.

•Head coach Sean Payton suspended for 2012 season without pay, effective April 1.

•General Manager Mickey Loomis is suspended without pay for the first eight regular-season games of the 2012 NFL season.

•Former Saints and current Rams defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is suspended indefinitely with a review at the end of the 2012 season, when Commissioner Roger Goodell will decide to reinstate him or not.

•Saints assistant head coach Joe Vitt suspended the first six regular-season games of the 2012 season without pay.

Powerful. Now I want to see the player discipline and how the NFLPA responds to it.

Give me a break is All can say. This happens on half of the teams in the league. Goodell likes that power, doesn't he?

lakeman74, I agree that this goes on all around the league. I think this reaction discipline is based off fear of lawsuits if its found these bounty's led to a players career ending.

Sean Payton will lose $5.8 million as a result of his suspension. That is a BIG OUCH! He makes 7 mil a year. Guess he will have to get by on 1.2 million for the year. Wahhh Wahhh.
