Let's just say that Saban comes, what would your expectations be for him? How quickly would he turn Texas around? Also is he who you really want? Just curious... Go!!!

National Championship in 2 years. He could possibly deliver in 1 but our QB situation is hairier than the Sasquatch in the Jack Link Jerky commercials.

Atleast Sabans QB's are not asked to much of them
Yeah, just not sure if our defense can be Saban-esque in 1 season.

Improvements to the offense and defense next year, NC contenders the year in year 2, win the NC in year 3 or 4.

This season is the ultimate lesson of what fundamentals, and the lack there of, will do for a unit. The players responded to Muschamp and are now responding to Robinson. I have no doubt that they would respond to whomever Saban trusts to run the unit. Our defense would be ready to go come August!

Can you imagine the culture shock for the veteran players?

No orange slices or swim parties.

The rain delay at TCU would have been rewriting and relearning the game plan based on what they saw in the first quarter instead of Mad Dog sending out for chicken fingers.

Five or six would transfer just from the shock of being held accountable.

Id expect 9 wins his first year, then a Big 12 title and BCS bowl in 15. 16 is a NC season.

I am man enough to openly admit, that I could actually care less about "Nick Saban" departing Alabama, and coming to Texas! To run the risk of sounding like a "broken record" I shall repeat this sentiment one last time..... "I love the University of Texas!" And I simply do not appreciate the fact that this "prestigious institution" has been the focus of an absolute "circus" like atmosphere in regards to it's "football program" as per the last several years.

Therefore, I simply do not accept the fact that a new " head coach" should just arbitrarily arrive upon the "40 Acres", pad his resume with a few wins, accept his "gazillions", and then just "glide" off into the sunset....

I shall only allow myself to become "passionate" about a head coach, that display's a bit of a "humility factor". A coach that shall arrive with an overall sense of character, passion, as well as concrete experience. And I certainly shall look for him to display the will to "empower" every aspect of the program. This coach shall not need to be a "GOD"..... he just needs to be a DAMN GOOD COACH!

...my personal choice - MIKE TOMLIN

...would I accept Nick Saban should he arrive upon the "40 Acres"? Yes, I would humble myself, accept his arrival... and proudly support my Longhorns....

Regardless of who the coach is for Texas in '14(other than Mack), i expect a Big12 title. The big 12 is not that strong a conference and if Texas is half decent they should compete for title but with a good coach this team can win the Big 12 in '14.

Depends on how much money Texas will be paying him. If it's slightly more than what he's taking home now, than at least the same performance he has achieved at Alabama so far; if it's a lot more, then 8 NC titles in 10 years plus 2 narrow losses in NC title games. (my expectations. not saying Saban can actually deliver.)

with a weak big 12 and an adjustment of the spread offense, i say about a max of 3 years

Saban would be successful w/ Ash (if he is lucky enough to come back), he would make both M Browns and Dalton beast. Can't imagine the swing in our recruiting classes for next year and 2015 would be freakish.

Big 12 next year and BCS win w/ the whole Spring to implement his plan and to sharpen it over the summer.

I know a lot of seniors better be glad they are graduating.

Don't produce...ride the pine. Underclassmen EVERYWHERE!!!

Final 4 in year 2!!! What is they say...make the playoff and anything is possible...
