Saban Deal Dead or Five Alarm Fire

The fact that no one has a clue one way or another means Patterson is doing his job well.

The only thing that seems to be consistent is the variety of stories.

Today is the first day where I felt Saban is merely a pipe dream.
No one and I mean no one has even breathed the mans name.

It's probably just gas. It will pass.

Jffcruise on OB who is a $$$$ insider said Saban is very much in play....
Again, I'll remind that his source is on the Sexton side.

I've never believed Saban was coming nor that he seriously even considered it. I also believe now that with Patterson running the show and in charge of the show that very few people know much if anything about what is actually taking place behind closed doors.
Here is someone that gets it. By far, and it's not even close, the most logical explanation of what's going on that I've read on ANY site so far. Why more people aren't seeing this is beyond belief. As I've heard said before, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one.

I think we're good as long as he doesn't try any Crazy Ivans.

Perhaps we're waiting for Jan 6th press conference right before Auburn kicks off! Hook this!
Ha ha ha! Awesome. :)

The start of a new kind of rivalry-- press conference rivalries.

I noticed no mods came in to squash what he was saying about Saban. Chip posted but did not comment on Saban.

I noticed that, too. I also noticed he doesn't get crapped all over like some other posters do when the subject is raised.

lets be honest. ... sh*t just got real.... and a lot of insiders will have egg on their faces. Its cool thought. ... its been fun a discussion
