What happens when the batteries run out in the third quarter? Or the connections are damaged by a big hit?

Do you recall when the NFL first put the headset equipment in QB helmets? Then, there was a rash of concussions…Aikman, Young, possibly Brett Farve.

There was a big investigation into the role of the headsets in that.
