Rumph

Thanks for posting that good read.

Not to mention is the a better name for an OL or DL coach than Rumph!

I can't wait to see what he nicknames some of our guys. He loves those nicknames.

He's taking a shot at Myles Garrett today.

Sales pitch:

"Hi Myles, would you like to come and be developed like I did with players at Alabama, and Coach Strong did with a Qb-turned-DE at Louisille? Or would you rather try your luck with A&M and Snyder's porous D?"

Snyder=Manny Diaz. Already told many of my Aggie friends that he will be fired midway through the season next year. Keep an eye on Daylon Mack, he will be flipping once their D is bad again next year.

Fantastic. It really sounds like Texas is going to prioritize both lines, which is the key to dominance.

Most quotable coach since DKR?

""If I see the mess I saw Tuesday, I'm gonna give you a one way bus ticket right on back to Dallas! Ima give you a mayonnaise sandwich, and a glass of water, and send you straight on up 35!"

"you run like a dog-gone statue, ima put a flame in your hand and send you to New York"

"Lookin like a billy goat. Are you a billy goat?"

I had a coach like that back in school days.

"Boy, you a ham."

"Boy, you a ham sandwich."

"Boy, you a peanut buttah."

When one of my best friends fell over a hurdle on the track, it was ...

"Boy, you a ... uh ..... potatah chip"

Still makes me LOL.

Juan Grande, I appreciate your enthusiasm ... I have been accused of too much of it in the past on other forums.  But, I gotta tell you that I have absolutely no interest in trying to read through that.  If you are trying to create content that you want to share with your fellow forum mates, if you want to share with us the wonder of these quotes,  try to put it in a format that is readable.  I have read a few of those comments elsewhere, and quite frankly, they were much more readable elsewhere.  You might as well be posting random computer code  with something embedded in there somewhere so that we can have a wonderful game of "Where's Waldo?".

In other words, What is wrong with you, Juan Grande?  ;)
