just now on his podcast talk going around now is Mack to announce on Thur and Saban to be introduced at the Banquet Fri.

is Labeling a rumor as still trying to confirm with more sources - has heard this from a couple of people

I would be surprised too but the talk is being heard from some sources...again is not totally confirmed

It's also a pretty big recruiting weekend.

I've been thinking Mack announces Thursday. Saban is announced Friday and is present at the banquet. Would create the least lag time between coaches.

I don't know if I believe or could get behind this. I want Mack Brown gone and it sounds I like we are getting that. However Mack Brown and the team deserves for this banquet to be about this years team. No matter what we think about Mack Brown many of these players love Mack and this should be a good way to send him off.

If they are going to announce Saban it should happen the following day.

That can't be true, if it is then it would be the ultimate insult to Mack Brown.

If Mack embraces what is happening he will be in much better shape than if he fights it. If the program has momentum going into the bowl game, it will still be a blowout of epic proportions, but at least it will be a big Mack Brown love fest. Mack is about to start writing his legacy. It's all up to him how he wants to be remembered.

Can confirm that timing is in line with what I've been told. Heard nothing re the banquet however.
