Ricky Williams to be honored at Heisman Trophy Gala

EDITOR'S NOTE: Longhorn Legend Ricky Williams will be honored tonight at the 89th Annual Heisman Memorial Trophy Dinner Gala in New York City. During the Gala, an awards program will honor 2023 Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels of LSU. Heisman Trophy anniversaries that will be celebrated include Williams' 25th, Penn State running back John Cappelletti's 50th and Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston's 10th. The 25th Anniversary of Williams' Heisman Trophy season was also recognized earlier this year during the Kansas State game, when he was also honored by the Texas Exes this weekend with a prestigious Distinguished Alumnus Award.
