Now that Muschamp has made the move to Florida as head coach, will this have any impact on the available recruits in Texas? He obviously made friends and established relationships while at Texas. I fear he might try and nab some folks that normally would commit to Texas. Florida is blue chip breeding ground I know but, LSU and other SEC teams try and recruit out of our own backyard. Florida is a good program that is appealing to players - Especially the way Texas has been playing lately (and might play this year).

The SEC has been raiding Texas for players just like the rest of the conference. Nothing will change and I find it funny that a failed DC is getting such attention..Did anyone watch his defense..I for one am glad he is gone..

The head coaches are pretty limited on there visits, a lot more so than assistants. I don't think Boom being the HC at Florida is gonna have much more effect on them recruiting Texas kids. Besides, he wasn't here all that long anyway.

I read somewhere that Muschamp did not do much visiting of recruits. He was saddled in Austin while other staffers ran the roads for him.
