Recruiting Updates

Guyton great size and speed I would at least go talk to him and see where he stands with his commitment with Oregon st.

I don't see them taking another WR in this class, there are 5 committed and down to 4 with Porter waffling. Seems they are encouraging Gray to visit elsewhere.
When you have two guys still taking OVs I would guess you cover your ass.

UT will get a visit from 2015 national top 100 RB Derrius Guice (LA) -- 5'10, 200.In the top 10 RB nat'l group.

Damn good runner

Not worried at all on the Foreman brothers, just enjoying the process as they should. They've never even been interested in Missouri. Sure a coach from Missouri reached out, and the two brothers want to take the visit and enjoy the process. 99 percent sure Foreman Brothers will be at Texas.

True and okay

Wouldn't surprise me if Stong told the Foreman brothers to take the visit, or it's alright to visit Missouri. If I was a coach I would tell young kids to enjoy themselves, you are either committed or not committed. Visits shouldn't impact your commitment. This is really the first time Missouri has even had contact with the Foreman brothers. That's why you shouldn't be worried, you aren't going to flip recruits this late in the game most of the time unless there's already a relationship in place with the other coaching staff. All this is are two kids enjoying themselves with a free trip to a nice college town. Don't blame them at all, I would probably do the same thing.

Seems like good news/confirmation ....

If I'm not mistaken, Mizzou offered one of them last summer, so, yeah, I'm concerned.

Offered D'onta Foreman, but Missouri had very little interaction or relationship with him. D'onta turned them down quickly (relationship was never built with the other brother either). Strong is probably telling kids to enjoy visits. That's what he did at Louisville. Make sure you're making the right choice.

FYI D'onta posted a picture on Twitter yesterday of him and Strong flashing the Hook'em sign. I'm not saying it's 100 percent certain that Texas keeps the Foreman brothers, but I'm far from worried that we are going to lose them.

2015 QB -- Carter McCown is a 6-2, 160-pound Pro-Style Quarterback from Jacksonville, TX. He is the cousin of former Jacksonville QBs Randy McCown (Texas A&M), Josh McCown (SMU, SHSU) and Luke McCown (Louisiana Tech).
