It appears that Jalen Campbell no longer has a Texas offer. The staff is reevaluating him at this time. Apparently they want to see more of him this summer in camps. This will be one to watch, I get a feeling the new staff is just not that high on him.

He's coming off ACL surgery last year and my guess is that the coaching staff wants to see how he progresses before going all in.

I watched him the Houston NIKE camp and I can tell you he has not fully recovered.

Before the injury he was running a 4.8.  Jalen is about 5'9.

I beleive Strong likes his cornerbacks a little bigger & faster.

Great kid and plays with a lot of grit.

I do not think this has anything to do with his injury.  Strong and company  do not want smurfs  as their DB's. Strong and Bedford seem to like the bigger DB with the size and strength to deliver a lick in run support. It would not surprise me if they award him a medical schollie before its all over since he committed before tearing up the knee..

Kinda poor form to pull an offer to a guy coming off an injury. I know he might not be Strong/Bedford material, but thus far has remained Commited to the Horns. Glad they didn't pull the offer on Shorter from this years signing class after his career ending/threatening injury. Of course, I am a physical therapist and sympathize with the injured athlete. My own injuries kick started my career, so I have a soft spot for those guys!
