What's your rain gauge showing? The first round left me with 1.35 inches here in Lewisville. Expecting another round tonight and still another round tomorrow evening.

Lake Lewisville is starting to fill back up.

Saw an update from San Angelo's channel 9 that two of their local lakes have risen a full four feet though it's too early to get a final total from that rain. Lake Nasworthy is now at 100 percent full.

Lots of flash flooding in West Texas right now and the rain continues there even now. Here's a shot from San Angelo's Pecan Creek this morning.

Does anyone know of a website where we can see the Highland Lake levels? DFW Lake levels?

4 3/4 yesterday. Another 1 1/2 this mourn inion Katy and it was still raining when I left this AM in Katy. Lake in front of house is almost at its bank. I wonder whose yard the local alligator will end up in.

We got another 1.25" this morning. Supposed to get more in just a few hours. We're not getting much done today but it's hard to complain about rain when everything is just greening up and growing like I haven't seen in a few years.

I'm really hoping the lakes get some benefit. But as of yesterday when I looked at Joeywa's links, the Highland Lakes had shown no change.

The Pedernales was running bank to bank at Hwy 71 when I came home tonight.  That's the most water I've seen in it in four years, right up to and floating some of those boat docks that have been on the bank since Lake Travis went below 650'.  The lake has to get back to that level before you can ski up the Pedernales and this isn't going to do it but it will be interesting to see what level we reach by the weekend.

Now we just had a system dump over 1.5 inches in about 30 minutes here on the lake.  Hook 'Em!

Well, Lake Travis is up about 3' since last Thursday, 627.88 and rising.  The county built a new low water concrete ramp at Pace Bend Park over the winter that is supposed to be operational at 630'.  We could possibility get there by the weekend.

Otherwise, everyone continues to launch from the bank hoping to avoid the muck.  It's best to have a 4x4 with a buddy with a 4x4 and chain!

I've gotten just under 9 inches in the last few days, combined. Here in Katy.

Wait, did I just type that?
