Hammer was on fire today. Due to weather later in the day, they’re teeing off at 6:45 a.m. TV coverage starts at 7:30 a.m. on Golf Channel.

Didn't we say the same thing after Jordan's freshman year?

We'll always be in the hunt for trophies, but we can't count on those with PGA Tour ability - like Cole Hammer - to stick around long. Maybe we keep him one more year like OSU did with Wolff?

I remember seeing an interview with Hammer where he stated that he wanted to come to Texas and WIN a National Championship...He comes from a background to where money is not an issue and physically he is VERY young...Unless he wins a US Amateur I think he will stay at least two years..He is very good but he is no where close to being ready for the TOUR
