PREDICTIONS: Who's your final two?

As we await the start of the season, we're all thinking about the college football playoffs already. The Horns missed out last year but fully expect not only to be in the CFP, but be successful there.

Still, the field is excellent this year. Oregon. Ohio State. Georgia. Miami. All those teams are going to be very, very good.

Which two teams make your final two (championship game)??

I think I would go with Texas vs. Notre Dame

Without knowing the seeding this is definitely a WAG (Wild Ass Guess). So I will take a rematch of Texas vs Ohio State.

Obviously lots of factors so I will go with the two most talented teams to me.

The final 2 are: the winner of Texas vs Ohio State and the loser of Texas vs Ohio St.

Final four: Texas, Oregon, Ohio St and Notre Dame

Texas beats Notre Dame in the semis then wins the rematch (going 2-0 against the buckeyes).

We also get over the hump and beat a 1-loss Georgia in the SEC championship game.

Still think Texas has 1 or 2 losses along the way.
