Per Sources: Chris Vaughn not returning to Texas

Can someone kindly enough pleasee slap me upside my head lol? I must have overlooked this while I was trying to keep up withall of the recruiting trail that had been going on,but,is it just me or did anybody notice Vaughn was m.I.a. while the other coaches were on nonstop recruiting trail. He would tweet certain code words and other info. He was extremely silent. I noticed something was a bit awkward

Like I knew he would frequently be on Twitter he would code out secret words while he was recruiting then down the stretch there was silence

I hate to hear this about Chris. Everything that I've read about him is that he did a good job at UT. We should have no problem getting a good replacement with all the talent the new DB coach will have.

I think a big order of Torchy's Tacos would be better. With the green chili queso and heated chips (nothing like it this side of Beaumont)  A couple of Trailor Parks, extra trashy. More fun and just as good as a slap upside the head!!  LOL!!

 
These departures will serve two purposes. A just reward to forum board members here and elsewhere who complained heavily last season about the worst decisions of staffing ever in the history of the game back to the beginning of the hire, and the great results that will come from the changes. Like to think we all win on this.

It was a heckuva gamble to start the first season the way it was, then on into season twoI the same way. One South Bend game and the honeymoon was over but took a while to make all the changes.

I still miss Mr. DB Coach Himself. But dogged gone if Akina didn't end up at Stanford. Probably good to go staying there. Lived in Palo Alto area for a while, back when, not a bad place if you can't be here. To say nothing of the program they have going there. Oh, and the University.

It was obvious months ago the entire offensive staff was gone outside of Traylor. 

The only departure that's been somewhat surprising is Vaughn because of the circumstances.

I figured Norvell was gone so that doesn't surprise me. I like him and kind of wish he would have stayed. But he's replaceable. Losing Vaughn sucks but he's replaceable as well. I don't know that Hurtt fills the defensive coach role though.
