Patrick Reed top five in the world?

Born in San Antonio and went to high school in Baton Rouge. Wife caddies for him sometimes.

Well, he has put it out there. Let's see if he can back it up.

Nice tournament win but I don't get the combative attitude? He shoots a final round 72 and is damn lucky his competition melted and Tiger had a bad back. The red and black thing is not working for me. He looks like he might want to shed a few pounds and improve the look.
did you see the interview yesterday? really nothing combative at all. almost matter-of-fact actually. i'd add that tiger's first shot of the day skulled a spectator 20 yards right of the fairway long before he started grimacing. there was no indication he was going to make a charge.

Like streettopeshel said, I did not think the actual interview was as combative as the media has try to make it. As soon as I saw the interview with Reed, I told my wife the media would have a field day with it.

Did others notice that when Tiger had a short run of good holes he did not seem to be showing any signs of back pain, but right after he hit one in the water he starts to grimace. I use to describe that type of behavior to my son as a "loser's limp". I think Tiger has always found an excuse for his poor play.

Like in most sports- some days you just don't have it- just admit it and move on.

Tiger with 79 tour wins and 14 majors. Now he's 38 and battling injuries. It seems every day someone is looking for the next Tiger. It was Sergio, then Rory, then Speith, now this kid. Let the haters hate and love on the new white hope.

While you were asking if I watched you guys new savior, I can ask you if you watched the Tiger interview. I'm pretty sure you didn't or you would have heard Tiger say he was fine until the sixth hole and by then he was 3 over. A guy who won a US Open with a torn ACL and a stress fracture doesn't need to make excuses to anyone. Especially those like you who use a guy worth a half billion dollars as an example of a loser.

I saw the Tiger interview. I also saw the same Tiger (some years back) whom allowed a large border to be moved by fans so he could hit his shot without obstruction. The large bolder was deemed to be a loose impediment. Don't think any other tour player with any honor or character would have felt comfortable with that. I also watch the same Tiger not defend Kelly Tilghman for her comment when answering Faldo's question. (Kelly was asked how the other golfers could halt Tiger and she in essence said she did not know short of lynching him). News media went crazy and Tiger was not man enough to come to her defense- Kelly was suspended for about two weeks from the Golf Channel. It just seems amazing how the news media searches for excuses every time he doesn't play well. I felt the same way about Jack Nicholas in his hay day. I repeat- sure looks like a Loser's Limp from a very shallow man. Obviously Brandon Chamblee (spelling) felt the same way when he wrote about Tiger's loose use of golfing rules. Media attacked Brandon also.

Why don't you just come out with it? You hate Tiger and nothing he does satisfies you and those of the same opinion. He cheats, fakes injuries and won't defend white people when they make dumb statements. Worse, he is the only guy to ever play golf to cheat on his wife.
