SignUp Now!Marian, I'm not looking for sunshine, but why the doom and gloom? That's funny bc I've always been considered a sunshine pumper. I think the reason it's ominous is bc of our situation. I'm trying to be unbiased.
perhaps i'm too stupid (entirely possible) to understand what about the OP turned this thread into a panty-wad, but i don't get it.
since the article talks about folks needing to be patient, i would think this being a rebuilding year is implied.StP,
I'm in no way upset, just giving an opinion. Hornsports at times asks for opinions, and I have never offered one. This is clearly a rebuilding year. I think we should acknowledge that.
Thank you, Matt. I am kind of surprised too. I think it started with my stating "moral victory" and people taking offense to that, but I think if we are being honest, that's where we are.I'm missing what's got folks upset about this column. When I read it the author asks a lot of tough questions and doesn't really give much personal opinion, instead letting the reader make their own choice.
I wasn't aware I was writing Doom and Gloom. I certainly didn't mean to. In fact, I agree with everything you said. No doom and gloom here at all. I like where we are headed and I understand it will take time for us to get there.Marian, I'm not looking for sunshine, but why the doom and gloom?
What did everyone expect when Espinosa and Ash went down in same same game? What did everyone expect when Harrison and Estelle kept toking?
My hope is that with Estelle gone, Harrison will return. It seems pretty obvious that one was pulling the other in. Getting one of those guys back would be huge. Is Daje coming back, as well? That would give another dimension to our offense.
What is the State of the Program? Charlie is trying to clean up a huge mess, and I'm glad he was willing to take on the job. It is a good thing he doesn't require much sleep. Anyone that wants a healthy dose of reality needs to walk in Strong's shoes for about 48 hours. I doubt that many could keep up.
You don't need to be concerned about responding to me. It's not necessary. Everyone has their preferences. It's a tough season, and I prefer to look for improvement and look forward to better seasons in the future. In the interim, I will support the team, including front and center in the Cotton Bowl.
