On the cluster F in College Station

I know that kevin murray is a helicopter dad but you gotta admire and respect him for taking the stance of doing what is best for his son instead of living in his own past of being a great qb at Atm. I mean he is in the Aggie Hall of fame. Although the AGGY hall of fame is probably a joke as far as standards, it does show the level of importance that he meant to that school.

Yea but we don't really know which one he is doing here do we?

Per Chip:

"Two sources close to the situation said Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp is very concerned about the internal direction of the Aggie football program under Kevin Sumlin, 51, and is looking into the possibility of terminating Sumlin's contract, which has a $20 million buyout.

One source said Sharp would then seek to hire Houston's Tom Herman, 40, who went 12-1 in his first season coaching the Cougars and won the American Athletic Conference. Another source said North Carolina's Larry Fedora, 53, who is from College Station, would also get strong consideration.

If A&M tries to fire Sumlin for cause, to avoid paying the buyout, one source said an attorney for Sumlin has already indicated the school would have a lawsuit on its hands."

About time somebody posted as to the current state of affairs in Collie Station. It's a slow Friday night!

Sipping bourbon and hoping for more such posts! Thanks for your contribution, joey!
They missed their opportunity with that tweet.  Should've said: "What's that?  Sumlin fell in a well....drink?"

Exactly. It's my understanding, that in a lawsuit, almost nothing is off limits. Sumlin would probably file in Federal Court, as well as State, wouldn't he?

Whatever the outcome, the Aggies will be all over the news in a very bad light. I can see the headlines now.
