I had a running written feud with Sharp in about 1994 through the editorial posts of the Amarillo Globe News. Sharp was the Texas State Comptroller at the time. I had criticized some of his actions as comptroller. It became a hilarious back and forth. He evidently is a very thin skinned "man". Seems he is still an ***.
