i honestly wouldnt care if he came since he will have to go through the humbling experience of sitting out of a year.

That is as long as he doesnt affect our next two qb commits.

Its funny though how Kyler has helped our recruiting for two years in a row.

I think he would have to sit 2 years (non-JUCO), not 1, since he quit

I have a source inside the aggie sports department that tells me with confidence that everything is under control.  He gave me this video of an  aggie rally for the football team as proof ...

Per Chip:

"Two sources close to the situation said Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp is very concerned about the internal direction of the Aggie football program under Kevin Sumlin, 51, and is looking into the possibility of terminating Sumlin's contract, which has a $20 million buyout.

One source said Sharp would then seek to hire Houston's Tom Herman, 40, who went 12-1 in his first season coaching the Cougars and won the American Athletic Conference. Another source said North Carolina's Larry Fedora, 53, who is from College Station, would also get strong consideration.

If A&M tries to fire Sumlin for cause, to avoid paying the buyout, one source said an attorney for Sumlin has already indicated the school would have a lawsuit on its hands."
