Ha, ha! Oh, how I miss the days when nurses were doctors handmaidens. (don't let my wife read this). My daughter is a doc, and she married one. That's not a bad ide since contrary to popular opinion, good nurses probably run the show most of the time. However, I did tell my child that I pitied the first nurse that got lippy with her. Of course, she said, "Oh, Mom!" During residency, second year, I think, a young lazy nurse didn't see to a patients comfort properly, and tried to correct the doc (nurse was wrong). My child, sweet little thing asked her to wait for her at the nurses station in That Voice and told her What would happen if the incident ever was repeated. She then instructed her to get to the patients room and get Whatever they needed. I think that patient had excellent care the remainder of the shift.
I laughed, but never said 'I told you so.'
Wonder how long that nurse lasted. Lazy ones are not good for much & good ones are worth their weight in gold.
Well, bedtime.
Hook 'em!
You worked with Hot Lips? There was a day when I enjoyed listening to Elvis in the OR. I had a Air Force Colonel nurse tell me "Turn that s**t off and pay attention to what you are doing". That ended the Elvis playing for me.
Didn't realize the Aggies had a member in the Village People. Good for them, they should be very proud....and claim another mythical NC title.
With election season heating up, Texas fans took the opportunity to take a timely a jab at Texas A&M.
Playing off Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign, shirts sold at TeePublic read "Make Texas Great Again — Build a Wall" with a wall surrounding College Station on the map. Teepublic lists the shirt at $20.
