I honestly don't know that a W here gets us anything above a 2 seed.  I think we're a solid 2 seed right now.  Hosting, IMO was never truly in the equation

And the play by Jones in left field also hurt badly. It might've been ruled a double, I'm not sure but a good fielder catches that ball.

You're most likely right. But as a two seed we could host some small school that's actually above us in the picking order. If there is one.
