We have heard from several sources that Trevor Goosby has not been practicing due to an issue with his hand/one of his fingers. For those gasping after reading that, breathe.... We were also told that Goosby should be ready to go in Columbus on Saturday.

Other notes on the OL include Jaydon Chatman receiving first-team reps at left tackle. Another interesting development is at left guard where Connor Stroh has been receiving first-team reps over Neto Umeozulu. We do not know which will be the starter on Saturday, but Stroh seems to be making tremendous progress (Sark mentioned he had a great camp).

If we hear anything else regarding the OL we will post it here.

OL is #1 concern. If we started with San Jose be different

I'm very glad to hear that the light has turned on for Stroh. He's got a lot of potential and seems to work very hard.

From what we have heard on Stroh, he worked really hard in the offseason on his strength and conditioning and lost 30 lbs. Sources tell us he is much quicker on his feet and just as strong as he was before he lost the weight.

Baron, I think you hit the nail on the head. Sark and Flood are preparing for the long haul this season on the OL and they must have depth, which involves getting some of the upperclassmen that haven’t played much involved.

We continue to hear that Stroh is getting the majority of the first-team reps (as of today) at left guard.

Any way he could slide out to OT at some point? He's got the size.
