OC already in place?

Given that we are hiring and/or keeping position coaches for the offense and yet have not officially announced an OC, which would be the boss for these new hires, do you think an OC is already in place and has had input on the hires? Maybe the salary for the OC home run hire that is being suggested requires approval from the BOR that meet this morning and that is why the delay in announcing. Just seems an OC would want to have some input on his coaches. I love the hires btw and I think CS is doing a great job...just the order seems a little odd, that's all. My guess is that CS has had his guy (OC) in place for awhile now.

It makes sense to have an OC b4 hiring position coaches. Especially if you are the position coach, you might not want to make the jump unless you know who you will be working with. Certainly the plausible scenario.

I can't see a guy like Wickline leaving OSU without knowing who the OC is.
