To me it looks like Tceh is trying to throw around some weight and dictate to the Big12 what they will do. Kinda like they are trying to be the bell cow of the conference.
This is probably a good indicator of whom has the power: Tech and Cody or all the other schools.I don't think those schools think that way. Many of them don't want to play Tech over this. Yorkman has his work cut out for him. He's pretty chummy with Tech folks.
I'm specifically referring to Tech wanting to fill the role of big kahuna and seeing how far they can get. Of course, my lenses are tainted by all of the Tceh brouhaha chatter of being relevant now.I don't think those schools think that way. Many of them don't want to play Tech over this. Unless Brett Yormark does something, I think TT athletic director Kirby Hocutt's statement of continuing support of quarterback Brendan Sorsby's recovery from an admitted gambling addiction while also not ruling out the possibility of him playing this season said it all. This is probably a good indicator of whom has the power: Tech and Cody or all the other schools.
I'm wondering if this will cause the end of the Big 12 conference. Are some teams talking to other conferences to join them? As of right now, the top 5 conference winners get a pass to the playoffs. ACC? a revival of the PAC 12?
I kind of feel that SEC and Big 10 are set so it would be other conferences looking to get bigger and better especially when it comes to TV $$
