Need some help. 1980 Texas vs Arkansas, opening kickoff

Anyone remember this game? Maybe it was the opening kickoff, maybe it was the second half. I was 16 and just remember this one particular play. I recall Jam Jones ran for 180yrds or so, I think we have 350+ yards rushing that game.

About the kickoff, I don't remember the names. All I recall is that it was the first game of the year and we didn't play Arkansas that early often. My dad called me to watch the replay cuz I missed it but the Arkansas kick returner was absolutely demolished just a moment or two after receiving the ball. I think time was called while the refs cleaned up the mess.

Anyone remember that? Who tackled him? I'm watching the 76 game against Arkansas on LHN and it got me thinking.

I was there as a student. Moved it to Labor Day for tv as I recall.

There was a game where Jeff Leiding hurdled someone on KO coverage and destroyed the returner. At least that's my recollection. Was this it?

Yes, it was Leiding.  Awesome play.  I was a junior and sitting down close to the Arkie fans.  Really made me dislike those people.  If I recall correctly, that play limited Leiding for some of the year due to severity of the impact on his shoulder.
