Muschamp out

Is his next stop the DC for aggy?

I will always have a place for Muschamp, but he bit off more than he could chew.

He never should have went to a top tier program like Florida, or Texas for that matter, as a head coach. He would have been much better off going to a second tier like a Louisville, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, etc. where he could prove himself under less pressure and/or expectations.

He is a hell of a defensive coordinator and someone will grab him up. I would not be shocked to see some second and third tier teams try to grab him as a head coach. Kansas and SMU are looking and that would be interesting moves.

He was not ready to be an HC at a top program and may never be.

Kansas ???....... Why not hire him if they can't get Mack !!!

You must hate Kansas fans. That's really going to sell, we just hired the guy who failed at one of the places where you can recruit great. Going from hiring Florida's OC to hiring Florida's failed HC.

He would be the perfect hire for the aggies. Besides being a good DC, he's recruited Texas and has a lot of experience in the SEC. As seldomseenhorn posted, hopefully he stays away from the type of program Sumlin runs.

I think his bridge is burned in dead dog town. Remember that he had to apologize or some such over derogatory things he said about College Station before aggy's first season in the SEC.

Of course, aggy would forgive but I think Muschamp really felt that way. lol

Lol Muschamp isn't going to A&M. He trashed them for years, pretty much calling College Station a craphole.

I think Charlie gets a big raise by either staying at Texas or leaving for Florida. He will be on their extra short list. Would not surprise if he bolted to the Gators. If you think it is impossible, you drink too much orange drink or wear very thick orange glasses.

That will not happen due to Charlie Strong being unhappy that he didn't get looked at seriously for the HC job at Florida before getting the Louisville job despite being on the staff and producing a top defense year in and year out.

There's about .000000000000001 chance Strong goes to the Gators.

1-That's not in Strong's DNA. Once Strong starts somewhere and is committed, he's going to finish. Strong is not the type to bolt after 1 year.

2-Florida is not going to hire another defensive guy. That failed miserably for them with Muschamp, they are going to go a different route.

3-I don't know why people think Strong would all of sudden just want to bolt for Florida after they slighted him in the last coaching search.

Is it impossible, no. It's also not impossible for me to get a date with Jennifer Aniston (granted I might have to get my Fiance's approval, lol).
