I'm not so much of a fan of the people who claim to be the first to break a given story. People may get one scoop but to sell yourself as always being the first and it gets tough to always deliver. I'm also not a fan of people who claim to have secret inside sources that are willing to undermine the HC or the AD and release information that they aren't authorized to release. If someone inside the program isn't respecting the best interests of the program and taking upon themself to decide what should and shouldn't be made public, that person needs to be let go immediately.

I hope that the HS team would be respected and honor confidences. Its more important to me to know something is about to break and wait for it to come than to find someone to leak info.

Right now I'm more curious how a HC change affects the members of the coaching staff with relationships with the High School coaches than if Saban's wife was spotted at Franklin BBQ.

If you want to give us some off the record info, make it from a major HS coach or two about what other HS coaches are hearing or saying about our recruiting staff and what they are saying to their recruits. Info on the neg recruiting against us would be interesting.
