I'm here to say thanks for all the reporting, I'm sorry it didn't come all true, but it was all just rumors. Hopefully Mack steps down and we can find another coach!

Keep up your reporting and ignore the haters!

i heartily concur! i don't fault McPhaul for telling us what he hears. We all knew that any deal like this can change in an instant.

This reminds me of the stock broker that says he has done is analysis, the stock tanks horribly and the he points to the fine print that says "Past performance is not an indicator of future results."

I did say say Saban to Texas. We gave him everything Sexton requested and more.

I never Saban signed a contract. He can't until there is an open position.

The best thing I take out of the McPhaul's reporting is this: We were able to visualize Texas' football program with what it deserves, the best of everything. Thank you for allowing us to see what we could be and what we are!

Be careful with the use of the word reporting.

The bigger question is Mack back

There were always variables with Saban. However the insiders have been resolute for months that Mack is gone.

So how does he still hold so much power to control the flow of this week? How in the hell is he the one still driving this ship?

The fact is that the schedule for this week should have been scripted a month ago.

I sincerely hope that the "insiders" or at least those that do hold any true influence will speak with their wallets or whatever it takes to change this mess.

Thanks for letting us know what you were hearing and what you will hear and report on in the upcoming days

Damn, more questions and uncertainty now. I'm so tired of this garbage.

Time for plan B-- let's go get us a coach that'll lift this program from mediocrity. Hook'em!

Exactly. I don't understand where this signed contract thing came from. There is no way in hell Texas could have had a fully executed binding contract in place without an official job opening. That would open up all kinds of legal and procedural problems and it's not the way Texas does business.

Signed contract came from some other poster on the forum. Said the contract was signed and sent back to Texas. AustinHorn1 or something was the poster.

Even if that was so, which I highly doubt...a contract signed by one party isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

We were NEVER in talks with Sexton since January. This is the single most fabricated story I've ever witnessed. Not one prediction came true. Not one.
