There was a post (from a right wing account) on twitter and facebook showing pallets of bricks under a highway in my town.  The post said that antifa is placing them out there for blah, blah, blah.  Our police department shot it down.  It was fake news.  The pallets of bricks were used for a construction project.

So, pictures of bricks... yeah.

Yes, there is an investigation by the DOJ into Antifa's involvement. The funny thing is, if you google this you'll see dozens of liberal website entries claiming "Nothing found in investigation so far" though the investigation is only a few days old. lol





I told you guys about reading stuff like the Atlantic and whatnot. They feed you garbage. garbage-in, garbage-out. Politifact has had their own issues. If you're going to be in the fact business, you should try to be on the right side of the facts as often as you can. Kinda hard to do that when the real goal is to hate one man every. Single. Day.

Do you really think Trump sits around with a calendar planning his own events?

That was a staff goof up which got corrected. Don't be in such a rush to hate a man that less than intelligent people wake up to hate each morning.

Ok even if I give you he doesn’t plan his own events. He’s the POTUS. He has the power to say, not that date. Kinda how they changed it to Saturday now. It shouldn’t have gotten to the point that it did. If he was aware of the holiday & the history of Black Wall Street, he would have never allowed that to happen. So it kinda puts him in the position of: 1) he doesn’t know about important events in African Americans lives & that’s said because he’s suppose to be the president of all Americans. And he supposedly wants our votes. You cannot expect me to vote for you when you don’t even know what Juneteenth represents. Or 2) he did know and he knew what that would signal. Either way it’s a bad look. It’s way I the whole look what he has done for black people stuff doesn’t fly in the African American community. He does the window dressing to try to show voters in the suburbs he’s not so bad. But he hasn’t done any substantial for our community. He doesn’t know the history of our community or show the want to learn about it. It’s a slap in the face.

Great news. Apparently Trump did a good thing for Juneteenth. People didn’t know before he planned to have a rally in Tulsa, home of one the worst displays of racism against the black community.... on June 19th. Because Trump didn’t know about a holiday that’s important to African Americans & had to be told by a black secret service agent, Trump who didn’t know that his own administration put out a post about it last year. That guy put Juneteenth on the map. Oh and he’s set to accept his nomination in Jacksonville, FL. That date, same as Ax Handle Saturday. I guess no one knew that was the date as well.  He will just be bring more attention again. What a guy. 

That was a stupid comment by Trump. I like his platform but sometimes I wish someone would take his phone away from him.

I have looked into a lot of fact checking websites. I use Nick Sandmann as a measuring stick. I watched the entire video and know what happened. Ask questions about whether Sandmann instigated the standoff and you will be met with crickets. The video makes it obvious that Nathan Phillips started the confrontation.

Honestly I cant stand twitter or fb for that matter.  Its pretty poisonous to read all the hate and trolling.  Its not good for society.

If that is the platform, it’s embarrassing to have NBA players, NFL players, rock stars, and movie stars pushing the movement.  Not a word about education, or mentoring. It’s just money.  That is sad.

Paul is an amazing writer, with the ability to get to the heart of the matter.  I would love to be able to write like that.

His writing is honest, and he has an amazing command of the English language. 

I wish that he would allow a link to be posted at the top of every Longhorn website. I don’t think he would object. He is a Longhorn through & through.

We can pay people to stand at the corner on a platform for hours on end. Kids can poke them with sticks to see if they can make them smile or laugh. lol

We judge people in history according to our contemporary woke standards.... and none of them deserve a statue.  Including Lincoln....

Hello, All!

Good Morning.  This is the first Summer in memory that I haven’t worked. In business, it was a given. In teaching, it has always been teaching Summer School.  It’s been great!

With the current debate over our history, and all of the controversy, I was pleasantly surprised to turn on my television this morning and see that the movie Hidden Figures was on.  If you haven’t seen it, you should.

It is a very well done movie based on the lives of 3 educated black women working for NASA prior to and after Glenn’s launch.  They weren’t content with the status quo, and were determined they would change it.

They made significant and lasting changes that set precedents for future generations improving the lives of both women and minorities.

See it.
