Man, those ivy league teams are almost always a pain-in-the-*** in the tourny. used to be penn or princeton. now it's harvard.

Wofford hanging with Michigan about 10 minutes in. Still early but Wofford isn't backing down.

Michigan starting to take over now. If Texas wins tonight, I think they actually have a legit shot to beat Michigan. Michigan doesn't seem to have a big guy down low. They will have all sorts of trouble guarding Ridley, Ibeh, and Holmes down low. Michigan is a great shooting team, but really don't get easy baskets near the rim. If Texas can control Michigan's outside shooting, I think Texas can win that game. Granted Texas has to get by a pretty good ASU team tonight.

I hope the Texas players are watching this. I know that they need to be focusing on their game tonight, but this should give them a bit of incentive for winning tonight. With regards to your comments about Michigan inside, Our guys should be licking their chops regarding their possibilities against Michigan. I am enthused about the possibility of a perfect storm to get us into the second weekend ... eh! If that doesn't happen ... back to the music thread!

I hope the Texas players are watching this. I know that they need to be focusing on their game tonight, but this should give them a bit of incentive for winning tonight. Yep from what I see they don't have a center. They have a power forward type player, similar to Holmes but that's it. They are an athletic jump shooting team. Don't even think I saw their bigs get a touch on the offensive end. Ridley, Holmes and Ibeh should touch the ball every possession.

Wofford still hanging around with Michigan. Wofford can't buy a jump shot. If they were hitting just a couple jump shots they would probably be winning this game.

OU getting worked. Can't shoot as many jump shots as OU does and expect to win in the tournament.

I'm pretty elated right now. Two guys I know were laying into me Yesterday for choosing Stanford over New Mexico. "You clearly don't watch Basketball" and etc. It's early in this game but I'm feeling very good about my choice right now.
