SignUp Now!Yes, the national championship combo of 2005 will be reunited to work their magic in Lincoln. Mack cleverly cut GD loose early to get acclimated to the intricate dynamics of BiG football techniques and stratagems before making the move himself. This way they can hit the ground running and dramatically shorten the MNC cycle. Pelini is rumored to quickly bounce back as Sumlin's replacement at ATM when he jumps to the Dallas Cowboys after Jerry Jones' buxom 20 something girlfriend has a dream that it is time to cut Red Jesus loose to foster more intimate carma in their lives and sell more Papa Johns pizzas....And Greg Davis will be OC right?
Yes, which is clear evidence that he possesses the keen mental accuity to see the value in scooping up Mack before anyone else can pull the trigger. The Pelini statement was just a clever distraction to buy time for Mack to blow another Big 12 championship opportunity to maximize Mack's booster buyout proceeds...Didn't the Nebraska AD already announce last week that he fully supported Pelini and that Pelini would be back next year?
Yes, Manny's supposed firing was in fact another clever ruse that allowed him to go on a highly clandestine mission to invent a hyper sophisticated defense that creates so much confusion that BiG offensive coordinators will spontaneously succumb to random brain farts at critical moments of games that Manny can predict and exploit to elevate Mack to the level of unprecedented MNC success that befits his own estimation of his self worth. Really spectacular stuff...Manny D is also available!
Oh good Lord....Was Joe Jamail the source. From a Bohls article this evening:
While I got ya before I go on two weeks’ vacation, here are nine things and one crazy prediction:
1. Mack Brown’s future at Texas after 16 successful seasons remains in limbo, but I wouldn’t look for him to stay unemployed long if he chooses to step down but continue coaching elsewhere. Joe Jamail, his trusted friend and attorney, told me he received “a feeler from a major, major university to see if Mack was interested.” When I asked Jamail if that was USC before it hired Steve Sarkisian, he said, “I can’t tell you. They called me in complete confidence.” Other big-name schools have come after Mack regularly. I think Nebraska would be crazy not to consider Brown if it lets Bo Pelini go. … Jamail also spoke to Brown at length Saturday night. “Mack said he was proud of our boys,” Jamail said. “You can’t win without a good quarterback, and we don’t have one.”
TexasFirst I'm not doughting what you are hearing. But I think that MB would wind up on ESPN before he another coaching job. My friends y'all have a great week.Hearing that Mack will announce his departure from UT and get his $2.5 million buyout plus another $5 million+ tossed in from boosters and soon after take the HC job at Nebraska. Nebraska is done with Pelini's performance/antics and they want Mack's persona and inroads into Texas recruiting. Mack gets a shot to show he was not the problem at UT and to match Saban by winning a MNC at 2 schools. (LOL!!!) It makes a certain very weird sense given that Nebraska was never able to figure out how to beat Mack more than once in 11 tries. Just a pure rumor from a Nebraska insider/business contact in Houston FWIW.
He would be perfect at ESPN.TexasFirst I'm not doughting what you are hearing. But I think that MB would wind up on ESPN before he another coaching job. My friends y'all have a great week.
